Public Rooms
The public rooms are elegantly and traditionally furnished with open log fires in the main reception rooms. All fabrics and furnishings have been carefully chosen to suit this very handsome period house.
The Sitting Room
The sitting room provides a homely, comfortable and informal atmosphere in which to relax, whether around the open fire or watching television. It has spectacular views out over the Forth to the city of Edinburgh, Fife and beyond. A sheltered patio leads off the sitting room and the provides a magnificent location to view the sun set over Edinburgh city.
The Gallery
The gallery offers a peaceful space in which to read, work or perhaps just catch up on your thoughts. It is also served by a wireless internet connection for those who wish to keep in touch with the outside world.
The Dining Room
This room is beautifully panneled and offers open views to the gardens outside. Alternatively, close the curtains and light the log fire to create a warm and intimate atmosphere in which to sample the very best of local scottish cuisine.
The Guest Office
There is a dedicated guest office with its own personal computer, printer and broadband internet access. Wireless internet access is available in this area and the nearby gallery for those guests who wish to take advantage of this facility.
The Locker Room
Our locker room provides ample storage for all the golf bags, trolleys and any other outdoor equipment you may have with you.
