Green Craig Background

 

Green Craig was originally built in 1923/4 as a private home for the Earl of Wemyss’ family, whose family seat, Gosford House, neighbours the property. In more recent times, the house was run as a small country house hotel until it was re-acquired by the Wemyss and March Estate in 2003.

 

An extensive program of renovation was finally completed in May 2006 enabling Green Craig to return to being a home once more and deliver a luxuriously appointed exclusive residence for up to 12 guests.
