Accommodation

Green Craig was originally designed and built to be a family home and it lends itself to providing a peaceful and secluded environment in which to relax and enjoy the very best hospitality. Following an extensive renovation project Green Craig has once again opened its doors as a great Scottish home for you to enjoy.

Public Rooms
The public rooms are spacious, well proportioned, elegant and totally befitting a house of this stature. Amongst the spacious living accommodation there is a magnificent dining room and a large but intimate sitting room.

The Sitting Room
The sitting room provides a comfortable and informal atmosphere to relax. This is the perfect place to unwind in front of a log fire. The views from this room stretch over Gosford Bay and onwards to Edinburgh and beyond. A door leads to a terrace perfect for sundowners and watching the sunsets. With the added addition of an i- pod dock and a 42” plasma screen this room can be the hub of the house.

The Dining Room
This room is beautifully panelled in a soft relaxing colour scheme, with open views over the terrace and gardens. Alternatively, close the curtains and light the log fire to create a warm and intimate atmosphere in which to sample the very best from the local Scottish larder. Our dining table can seat 12 guests comfortably, or you could have the room set up for up to 30 guests for that special occasion.

The Gallery
This is a peaceful space where the morning newspapers can be found, with wi fi in this area guests can keep abreast of the world via their laptops.

The Guest Office
Situated just off from the Gallery, this space has a desk top computer with printer for 24 hour guest use. There is also wi fi in this area.

The Locker Room
Our locker room provides ample storage for all the golf bags, trolleys and any other outdoor sporting equipment you may have with you. Perfect for hanging up wet waterproofs and drying umbrellas. This is also where we store the bag of practice balls and the croquet set.

The Kitchen
The house kitchen it where it all happens in the mornings! Breakfast is served in here and we find this is great for both the guests and breakfast cook. We offer the full Scottish breakfast plus fresh fruit and berries, fruit juice, pastries, toast and cereals. Guests are not allowed to cook in the house kitchen but have their own guest kitchen.

The Guest Kitchen
Here is where guests can find the perfect bowl of snacks to partner that lovely malt they have just poured! The cupboard is stocked with crisps, nuts, cheese biscuits and shortbread and the fridge is stocked with a selection of Scottish local cheeses. There is also an ice machine and coffee maker.
